Youth Club

The Youth Club meet on Saturday nights from 7.30 until 10.00 pm. Over the years literally thousands of young people have came through the Youth Club. A range of activities including football, unihoc, netball, volleyball, table-tennis, snooker, pool, video games, board games etc. are provided for all ages and abilities to participate.
The leaders bring a short epilogue each week and also meet to pray for the work together.
The Youth Club service is an annual event which attracts many young people and parents who would otherwise not attend church.
There is usually a Youth Club weekend away which enables closer relationships to be established – and also a level of sleep deprivation. (See link below to 2006 weekend report!)
Approximately every fortnight there is a 'LATE NIGHT' Youth Club where young people who are in year 11 (old 4th year in shillings and pence!) or older can stay after 10 pm. Various activities are engaged although 'eating' is almost certainly participated in. Julie-Ann and Paula look after this important work.
Like all Youth Work, this requires a
group of dedicated leaders.
Joe McKnight is the leader in charge.
