Another year passes by as the Youth Club held their annual service on 15th April 2007!
This was a celebration of 16 years of Youth Club where literally 1000s (Yes 1000s) of young people from the area have enjoyed the fun at Clonduff hall on Saturday nights. More importantly all these young people have had an opportunity to hear and see the gospel as the leaders seek to show the Message in Word and deed.

The preparations had been progressing for a few weeks, culminating in another 'bake-off' where the girls prepared scones and buns etc. for Sunday night as well as the usual 'last minute' practising.

As usual the leadership team met early on Sunday afternoon to prepare the hall and finalise the arrangements. Robert Graham (reliable as ever - with the teapot) made toast etc. and ensured that all were amply refreshed for the start of the service.

The hall was packed with visitors there from neighbouring youth groups and lots of parents and young people.
The musical team of Alison (piano), Leonard (bass), , Esther (Flute), Benji (drums), Rachael P (keyboard) and Joe (guitar) with Junior (leading) began by having a time of worship.
Various young people and leaders were involved in the leading of the service which included interactive powerpoint slides for songs and a slide presentation of the Youth Club work set to 2 songs by Michael W Smith - 'I'll lead you home' and 'Above all'.
Our own minister, Damien Boyle was the speaker for the evening and based his message on Ecclesiastes 12:1-7 "Remember you creator in the days of your youth." This was a clear presentation of the Gospel and the necessity and urgency of trusting Jesus Christ as Saviour was once again faithfully preached.
The worship concluded with the singing of 'What a friend we have in Jesus' and tea was served afterwards and almost everyone remained behind to enjoy the fellowship and chat.

Below are some photos of folk who attended or were involved in the service
